How much does a photoshoot in Turkey cost
How much a photoshoot in Turkey costs is one of the first questions people ask me on WhatsApp. The short answer: my shoots start at €49 for 30 minutes, €79 for an hour and €129 for two hours. The price is per session, not per person: a couple, a family with kids or a group of friends pay the same.
Below I explain what each package includes, what other photographers on the coast charge, what you might pay extra for and how not to overpay.
Photoshoot prices and what's included
| Package | Price | Where | Photos | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 minutes | €49 | Alanya only, Cleopatra Beach | 25+ colour-corrected | a couple or a portrait, one outfit |
| 1 hour | €79 | any location in your town | 50+ colour-corrected | a family, a couple, a love story |
| 2 hours | €129 | two locations or an outfit change | 100+ colour-corrected + 10 with detailed retouching | a flying dress, a big family, two outfits |
Every package includes help with posing and outfits and an online gallery within 3–5 days. The 2-hour package also comes with a preview of 5 photos the next day: handy if you want to post them while you're still on holiday.
Prices are the same in Alanya, Antalya, Side, Belek and Kemer. There's one exception: the 30-minute mini session is only available at Cleopatra Beach in Alanya.
What other photographers in Turkey charge
As of October 2026, there are three pricing models on the coast:
- Per hour. Independent photographers in Alanya and Antalya usually charge from €60 an hour; on international platforms like Airbnb it's around $150 an hour.
- Per photo. Hotel and beach photographers charge €5–6 a shot, and a 10-photo package on tourist booking sites costs around $70. Under this model, 50 finished photos would cost €250–300.
- All-inclusive package. A fixed price for the shoot time, with all the good shots edited. This is how I work: you know the total upfront and don't have to choose which photos to "buy".
When comparing, look not at the hourly rate but at how many finished photos you get and when.
What you might pay extra for
The final cost of a photoshoot in Turkey depends on more than the package:
- Transfer. Paid separately if the location is more than 15 km from your hotel. For example, a shoot at Aspendos or Perge if you're staying in Belek.
- Entrance tickets. Ancient sites like Phaselis charge admission, and you buy the ticket. The Temple of Apollo in Side and Cleopatra Beach are free.
- A flying dress. You can rent one, and I'll tell you the price before the shoot. More in the article about a flying dress photoshoot.
- Shooting at your hotel. Usually free, but some hotels ask you to let them know in advance. I explain how to arrange it in the article about a hotel photoshoot.
No deposit needed: you pay in cash or by transfer after the shoot.
How to save on a photoshoot without losing quality
- Choose a location near your hotel. You won't pay for a transfer, and every town has beautiful spots. In Alanya that's Cleopatra Beach, the castle and the Red Tower.
- Think about how much time you need. For a couple in one outfit, 30 minutes or an hour is enough. Two hours make sense for a family with kids, an outfit change or two locations.
- Shoot as a group. The price doesn't depend on the number of people, so for two couples or a family with grandma the shoot works out much cheaper per person.
- Book sunrise or sunset in advance. The price stays the same, but golden-hour photos look better and there are no crowds. In summer it's best to message early to get a convenient time.
