A photoshoot at your hotel in Belek and Kemer

Belek and Kemer are full of large hotels with gardens, pools and private beaches. Often the best location is a two-minute walk from your room. Here's how I shoot at hotels and what to sort out in advance.

Why a hotel shoot is a good idea

  • No travel: you save holiday time and transfer costs.
  • Easy with small kids: your room is close for changing, feeding or a nap.
  • Two outfits without any fuss.
  • Good hotels are ready-made sets: palms, pools, gardens, piers.

What to shoot on site

  • The private beach and pier: the sea and the sunset, without crowds from neighbouring beaches.
  • Gardens and paths: greenery, flowers and shade for family photos in summer.
  • The pool: at sunrise or in the evening, when there are fewer guests.
  • Your room or balcony: cosy morning shots, especially for couples.

Belek: gardens and pines

Belek is a resort of large hotels with well-kept gardens and long sandy beaches. Pine groves along the coast give lovely shade and a backdrop for family photos. If you'd like some ancient history, a 2-hour package can include a trip to Aspendos or Perge.

Kemer: mountains in every shot

Kemer sits between the Taurus Mountains and the sea, so from almost any hotel you get both water and mountains in the frame. Note that the sun drops behind the mountains earlier here, so evening shoots start a little sooner than elsewhere. If you want to go beyond the hotel, Kemer marina, Moonlight beach and ancient Phaselis are nearby.

Arranging it with the hotel

Most hotels are fine with photoshoots. Some ask you to let reception know in advance or to get a pass for the photographer, sometimes for a fee. I'll help you check your hotel's rules before the shoot so there are no surprises on the day.

  • Send me your hotel's name and I'll tell you what's usually needed.
  • Ask reception whether you can invite an outside photographer and whether there's a fee.
  • We respect other guests: no photos of people without permission and no taking over sun loungers.

When to start

An hour before sunset on the hotel beach, or at sunrise by the pool while it's empty. In summer we can start earlier in the garden, in the shade of the trees.

How much a hotel photoshoot costs

1 hour is €79 and 2 hours is €129, per session rather than per person. I come to your hotel in Belek, Kemer, Beldibi, Göynük, Tekirova or Çamyuva. More on the photographer in Kemer and photographer in Belek pages.
